Welcome to ScaleMed Academy, an online coaching platform supporting medical professionals preparing for the PLAB 2 and UKMLA exams. By accessing our website or registering for any of our services, including the Live Online SimMan Zoom Course, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. General Terms
    This website is operated by ScaleMed Academy. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to ScaleMed Academy. By visiting our website and/or purchasing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to refuse service, update policies, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

  1. Live SimMan Online Course Terms and Conditions
  • Every week, the Live Online SimMan course is conducted via the Zoom platform and starts promptly at 10:30 am UK Time.
  • Registration for every Live Online SimMan course is open until 10:00 am UK Time on the course day (30 minutes before the start of the course).
  • Any payments made after 10:00 am UK Time on the course day will result in automatic registration for the upcoming course next week.
  • Once a booking is made for a course, candidates will only be allowed to attend the particular upcoming course date they have registered for and will have to rebook the course with the full fee if they wish to reattend the course on a different date.
  • Registered candidates will not be allowed to reschedule or postpone their booking to the next course, nor will they be allowed to cancel their course and claim refunds under any circumstances, except in the event of a cancellation from our end due to unforeseen circumstances. In such a case, the candidate will have the option to either claim a refund or reschedule to the next immediate upcoming course.
  • If a registered candidate misses part of the course or the entire course, they will not be allowed to reschedule or postpone their course, nor will they be eligible to claim a refund, and they must pay the full fee again in order to attend a new course.
  • Each registration is tied to the individual candidate’s personal details. You cannot transfer your seat to another person.
  • Access to our Zoom sessions is strictly single-use per person and per device.
  • Sharing of Zoom links is strictly prohibited. Each Zoom link is uniquely tracked for security and academic integrity.
  • Any violation (such as sharing, multiple logins, or impersonation) may result in immediate removal from the session without refund.
     
  1. Live SimMan Course Content Copyright Terms and Conditions
  • The Live Online SimMan Course will be conducted via the Zoom platform and will be accessible exclusively to registered candidates. Please note that recordings of the Live Online SimMan course will not be provided in any format.
  • Each registered candidate will receive a unique Zoom link, strictly accessible by only one person on one device at a time, sent to the email address provided during initial registration.
  • Registered candidates are not permitted to:
    • Share, screen record, or screen share any part of the Live Online SimMan course
    • Take screenshots or photographs of any part of the Live Online SimMan course
    • Record audio or video
    • Photocopy the course materials
    • Redistribute or publicly display any course materials
  • After each Live Online SimMan Course, the SimMan Flash Cards PDF file and the Prescription Guide PDF file (as part of the bonus offer) will be shared with registered participants. These materials will not be provided before the course.
  • All course content, including Zoom links, study material files (PDF format), slides, recordings, and visuals, is the intellectual property of ScaleMed Academy and is copyright protected. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
  • Anyone found violating these terms will be subject to strict legal action under copyright and intellectual property laws.

    We may offer access to third-party platforms such as Zoom. These are provided “as-is” without warranty or control by us. Use of such tools is at your own discretion and subject to third-party terms.

    We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation of our services. All services are provided “as is” without any warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied.
  1. Limitation of Liability
    ScaleMed Academy will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses or damages resulting from your use of the website, services, or any material provided.
